"Insensitive staff at AE"

About: Barnet General Hospital

My sister and I visited the A and E practice on the recommendation of one of the doctors at Barnet hospital. Then dcotor was witnessing stroke like symptoms and Barnet recommended we visit the Aand E if it happened again until they completed all tests for this.The nurse and GP we saw were both insensitive to the situation and have left the patient in tears on the possible diagnoses. After waiting for 4 hours at the A and E we were told to wait for the tests to be completed and were not offered any advice on prevention. The doctors words were " it is not life threatening right now so I cannot do anything " even though the patient had undergone stroke like symptoms. We have left feeling helpless and in fear of the uncertainty of the situation as a result of the staff being unprofessional and insensitive. Will never visit for AE again
