On Thursday the 7th, I was admitted to hospital by my GP. It was all quite a shock, and due to my ulcerative colitis suddenly worsening. I started out in the EAU department, then went into Endoscopy for an emergency flexi-sig, then moved to the Ladywell building for monitoring. I'd like to say thank you to every single member of staff that looked after me. All 3 of the departments were incredible, reassuring, safe, clean and wonderful. I was extremely anxious and had every fear listened to and reassurance given for the whole time I was there. Thank you to a nurse in the EAU, who was so very kind to me and my partner, and made me feel a lot less panicked, and to another nurse who was incredible and kind. Thank you to a nurse in the Ladywell building, who was absolutely exceptional throughout my last night. Thank you to one of the endoscopy nurses who sat with me for 10 minutes before I went in, and to my consultant who I feel extremely safe under the care of. Overall an exceptional hospital, very well run, and such passionate staff from one end to the other. All I can say is thank you.
"Absolutely amazing staff"
