"Parking"

About: Wexham Park Hospital

Today I went to the hospital just to get checked up. I was referred here by my GP because of what my situation was. The place was clean just like how a hospital should be, loads of smiles all around and you would think everything was alright. Why should 20 minutes parking be free? Who goes to the hospital for 20munites? By the time you get in that's 5minutes, looking for the right ward is already another 5minutes, waiting time is more the 10minutes. So why are you charging £3.00 for an hour? If someone did want to go to hospital they'll rather stay home because why should they pay a ridiculous amount to seem by a doctor or whatever. This is a problem that people face all the time and it's something you need to look into and change because it is ridiculous.

Thank you for your feedback regarding Car Park Tariff adjustments. I have shared your feedback with the manager responsible and he has responded. We have spent a significant amount of funding on car park upgrades at Wexham Park and there will be an additional 475 spaces available to visitors on completion of the project. We are committed to providing an improved patient experience and we monitor the parking available daily and we have had positive feedback regarding the ability to find spaces since the work has begun and the weekly ticket option is still available for £15.

All of the revenue generated is re-invested in the car parks and in clinical areas again with patient experience the key objective for us.

Another reason for the tariff adjustment is so we align our prices with Frimley Park to ensure that charges are the same for patients on any of our 3 sites.
