"excelent service at lincoln maternity ward."

About: Lincoln County Hospital

We can't thank the maternity team enough honestly we are so pleased with the service we received. My partner and I arrived after calling regarding her possible labour starting and was told to come in asap. Apon arrival we was welcomed warmly to a clean roomy private room with plenty of amenities for birthing. We was given a drink or two and then left to do our thing for a little while.

Once my partner was checked it was made clear to us early labour had started but not ready for birth. Instead of being marched home they allowed is to stay and we most hospitable. We had a troublesome birth as baby started coming early morning then decided that no she's staying and contractions stopped also my partner had back issues. It was later realised that baby was back to back. At this point my partner through out and after the contractions had some difficulty and had a midwife close by and a nurse 1-1 monitoring her for several hours. It was agreed that we would return home when we felt ready as the hone environment would better suit my partner with her problems bit we was welcome to return whenever we wanted if we felt there was problems. On return again welcomed lovely another clean room drinks ect ect baby was delivered by the same nurses and midwife who we had before. The midwife team at Bardney ward was brilliant I can't fault them I am eternally grateful for everything they did to ensure my baby girl and my partner was safe and a complicated painful labour was made as comfortable as possible. Again thanks and I highly recommend Lincoln county hospital never had any problems at all.
