"I have been trying to contact ..."

About: Lister Hospital

(as the patient),

What could be improved

I have been trying to contact the musculoskeletal triage clinic for the past week. The telephone is never answered, the person is always away from their desk!

I went to main reception to find out how to contact the clinic and the person on reception did not eve know what the clinic was or where it was!

How am I supposed to get help if it is impossible to contact anyone

Anything else?

The consultant I saw was very helpful and said if I needed to contact him just to ring up. I have tried but have so far failed to contact anyone

The musculoskeletal triage service, although based on the Lister hospital site, is actually run by a different organisation - the local primary care trust (PCT). Some months ago, the PCT began the process of moving the majority of these therapy services to more local community settings, including the musculoskeletal service. This is now based in a building on the Stevenage Leisure Park, which used to be the old Leapfrog nursery. It can be contacted directly on: 01438 847520.

We're sorry for any inconvenience these changes made by the PCT may have caused you, but hopefully the information provided above will help you to get in touch with the triage service again.
