It took a lot for me to work up the courage to ask for help. I have had a horrendous experience with both their administrators and then the assessors. I have been left feeling like I have been wasting their time and absolutely dismissed. This service is commissioned to deliver both CBT and counselling and I have been told that as they only have two counsellors, they do not want to refer people for this and the only thing I have left is to source private counselling! That is fine if I had the money to do this, but the NHS can provide it, albeit short term but this will give me the opportunity to talk about my issues and help myself get back to normal. Why am I being left out like this? Terrible service!

Firstly, apologies for the extremely late response to your post. We have not been getting alerts when a comment is posted about this service. This has now been remedied.

This is concerning feedback. We have a team of practitioners who deliver this service, not just two. And that was the case even back in the summer in 2016 when you posted on this site. I am so sorry you felt unsupported after your contact with us. We certainly do not want people who have take the first step and feel quite vulnerable, to be made to feel like this. I would urge you to get back in contact with the service to be re-evaluated. I think you will have a very different experience. It is important that you find a way forward to get back on track.
