About: Chesterfield Royal Hospital / Colorectal surgery

(as the patient),

I was admitted for minor surgery and of course was full of trepidation and nerves.

Every single member of staff I met put me at ease and made the whole experience a happy and positive one.

Many thanks to Kevin and the team in the colorectal clinic. All the staff in theatre admissions and of course the theatre team, anaesthetists, and recovery staff. Outstanding people, every one of them!

Finally, a massive thank you to everyone on Murphy ward, what an amazing team of people! It was so obvious that this is not just a job to them, the genuine care they show to patients, the positive and super friendly attitude they have and the hard work they do needs to be commended.

A simple thank you is not enough to express my gratitude and admiration, you lot are amazing. It was like being cared for by friends, so THANK YOU: )

You clearly felt nervous about coming in to hospital so to read your post about your experience is a delight!
