"Very poor after care"

About: Gloucestershire Royal Hospital

I suffered Myocardial Infarction and had stents inserted - no aftercare provided at all. 12 months later I call up to check if I should have a review, and they confirmed they'd completely forgotten to invite me to a post op appointment. So just found out I was supposed to have one. When I left hospital, they literally handed me tablets and shoved me out of the door with no clue of what tablet did what, no information on how to take care of my heart or stents. Thank god for the internet and google or I would have never have known! Disgraceful!
