"Patient Transport"

About: Barnet General Hospital

Attended out patient clinic yesterday with my mother who is 79 frail and in a wheelchair, expect clinics to overrun which isn't unusual but then had to wait for 2 hours for transport to take her back to her nursing home. Who ever is responsible for the patient transport contract needs to seriously have a look to see what their service level agreements state as due to the wait I had a very upset and distressed old lady and we weren't the only ones waiting.

The powers that be really need to sort this out.
