"Great Care at Boston Breast Unit"

About: Pilgrim Hospital / Breast surgery

(as the patient),

In Oct 2014 I attended Boston Breast Unit for a routine mammogram. The outcome of this was due to an invasive form of cancer a right mastectomy and removal of lymph glands. After a few hurdles and setbacks this was followed by chemo and radiotherapy. My Consultant at the unit was Mr Abdel Rahman a most polite, caring professional doctor I have ever met. During my treatment Mr Abdel Rahman has been kindness itself any he has always listened to any of my worries, woes, problems and made me smile and put me at ease with his sense of humour. Mr Abdel Rahman is a highly respected professional who cares about all the patients he treats. I praised him once before and he said all is done by a team. Boston Breast Unit has a great team who have made my treatment and healing 100% a lot easier to handle.
