"scariest time of my life"

I was sectioned by the southend police because they were concerned with my safety.

They thought I had gone missing and when I arrived at chalkwell station they took me to the hospital.

The ward was very clean and my room had a private toilet.

There was a towel for me and the bed was comfortable.

I was examined zoom after my arrival.

I told the nurse

What medication I took and repeated it to a nurse a few hours later but in the 20 hours I stayed there i was not given any.

The staff were lovely and I got nice cups of tea but was only given a small salad and a sandwich when I asked for it.

There was no offer of a radio, television or reading material.

I was allowed to have my mobile which was a basic one offering no on line access.

It was all very peaceful but I could have done with some hot food and my medication.
