"Birth suite"

About: Royal Bolton Hospital

I rang the birth suite after having regular contractions at home for a few hours. I was treated really nicely and advised to get my things together and make my way to the birth suite (I had chosen this option as opposed to the labour ward). The midwife on the phone was very helpful, friendly and calming. On our arrival to the birth suite I was met with friendly smiling faces and taken to one of the birthing rooms with a pool as they had seen that I hoped for a water birth. I was treated with respect and kept informed of my progress and made to feel at ease. My midwife was one of the nicest persons I've had the pleasure of meeting. I wouldn't think twice about recommending this hospital.
