"Receptionist thinks they're a doctor."

About: Crawley Hospital / Urgent treatment centre

Experiencing Severe stomach pains, call nhs 111, get told to go to urgent care Crawley. Arrive at the desk, receptionist asks what's wrong, I explain. They then refused to book me in on the basis I should go to East Surrey. I Cannot drive due to the pain and medication so don't know how I'm expected to get to east Surrey on foot with severe pain. Explain this to the receptionist and I am denied their booking me in. They were rude, and extremely unsympathetic about the fact I'm in agony, and have no way of getting to east Surrey. Plus NHS 111 had told me to go there. Symptoms consistent with appendicitis or ectopic pregnancy- a situation that could turn life threatening extremely quickly and Crawley urgent Care failed to provide any sort of care what so ever. Obviously too busy dealing with paper cuts and grazed knees. Never been so ashamed of the NHS
