"Lovely staff"

About: Heartlands Hospital

I just came home after visiting ward 1. Hospitals really freaks me out and I was really nervous. But Reception staff, sonographer and nurse was all so friendly and made me feel so comfortable. Even though the outcome of my visit wasn't what I had hoped for I feel that I got calmed down and my mind put at ease at least for now. They really seemed to care and I can't praise them enough for their hard work

Thank you for your post regarding your visit to Ward 1 at Heartlands Hospital. I can appreciate how scary coming to hospital can be and how nervous one can feel. I am so pleased to learn that you found the Reception staff, sonographer and nure were all so friendly and help to make you feel comfortable. Our staff on ward 1 work in often difficult, busy pressures but work very hard to provide a caring, safe environment for their patients. I will ensure that your feedback is highlighted to the Ward Nurse Manager, Matron and Head Nurse who will be so pleased to read your feedback and ensure it is communicated to all of the team there.

I hope this is acceptable. Once again, thank you for taking the time to post your feedback, it is extremely important to us, and is most appreciated.
