I attended the BMI for day surgery to remove an infected cyst from my ankle.

Thank you to my very knowledgeable and experienced ankle Consultant and their team. At all times friendly, kind and appropriately informative.

I always felt well looked after and appreciated the cheerful, helpful attitude of all staff, the nurses were lovely and the anaesthetists were a particularly happy bunch, I know I was smiling as I 'went under'.

Aftercare involved not only adequate painkillers and antibiotics but also clear advice on what to do and what not to do and the physio's instructions and leaflet were easy to understand and follow.

Follow-up appointments are efficiently timed and booked.

Before being discharged I'm informed that my wound is healing nicely, no signs of any infection and tissue histology was clear. My Consultant is happy with their surgery and stitching and so am I! I'll be walking pain free very soon.

Hospitals and surgery are never fun but the staff at BMI London Independent made a stressful and trying time a lot easier to cope with.
