"C section and Post natal care"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus

We were rushed in for an emergency c section with our little boy, I originally wanted a home birth so this was a huge shock to both me and my husband.

I don't even know where to start with how fabulous the staff are that have helped us at qmc! Every single member we have met has been so friendly and extremely helpful!!

We had to stay in hospital for a few days as baby wasn't feeding properly and again, the staff were amazing, helping me Brest feed, looking back, I couldn't have managed to breast feed if I had stayed at home, the staff on ward c29 have been absolute stars with getting my little boy to feed!! They are so attentive and friendly, It has been a blessing in disguise that we needed an emergency c section over a home birth, even with my mother and mother in law and two midwifes booked in for a home birth, as I wouldn't have had this attentive, friendly and helpful care at home that I've had at qmc. I am thrilled at the help we have had and even after just a few nights staying here, I am going to miss the lovely staff!

We can not thank them enough for there friendly helpful service!!!!

Anyone considering having a baby here must do so!! The care we have experienced has been exceptionally amazing!!!!

Very many congratulations to you and your husband on the birth of your baby boy. Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. It’s great to hear when things have gone well and when our staff have given patients and their families so much help and support. I’ve shared your lovely feedback with our maternity staff, who ask me to pass on their thanks.

Best wishes to you and your family,

Kay Khan
