About: North Middlesex Hospital

I have had 2 babies there one in 2011 and one in 2015. The care was exceptional! I had 2 c-sec, both emergencies, the doctors were so nice and calming. In 2011 they had not upgraded to the new suit, but none the less I had a brilliant time. The Midwife was amazing, in 2015 I went in, the midwife was so gentle and caring, they pumped heat up my blanket during the Operation, I felt so comfortable and satisfied. i live in st albans and my water broke there, i persisted on driving to North Midd.

I am now pregnant with number 3 and im at the north east herts trust (QE2+lister). Things are not quite the same. At North midd they have the best blood doctor in the world, the doctor can take blood so smoothly and quickly. at north midd the antenatal dept has their own pathologist. Sadly in the sticks there is only 4 doctors for everyone! so an hour wait to meet the vampires! Not happy,

So glad that our midwives were able to support and reassure you during your C-sections at North Mid. Positive comments made on NHS Choices website prove reassuring for new mums deciding where to have their babies and for them to be able to read about your birth gives them confidence.
