"Excellent hospital-acute injuries"

About: Solihull Hospital

I entered the hospital last Thursday after having a black out at home.

Every member of staff from porters to Drs were friendly efficient and dealt with me with dignity, care, respect and intelligence.

I'd particularly like to thank the doctor for giving me their breakfast and checking in on me constantly. I was suffering (and still am) from exhaustion and hadn't eaten for a few days.

The doctor could see I didn't like the sandwiches on offer and gave away their own food.

This is the NHS at its best. Everyone was amazing.

Thank you so much for your kind comments regarding your recent patient experience at Solihull Hospital.

I am so pleased to learn that all of the hospital staff you came into contact with were kind, respectful, friendly and efficient in their dealings with you.

How heartwarming to read that one of your doctors noticed that you did not like any of the sandwiches on offer and happily gave you his own breakfast, that was very kind of them!

As you say, a great example of the NHS at it's best and I do hope that you are now feeling much better.

I will ensure that your lovely feedback is shared with the Emergency Department Management Team at Solihull Hospital as well as the Acute Medical Unit Team and they will in turn communicate it out to all of their staff.

I hope this is acceptable and thank you once again for taking the time to provide your feedback; patient experience is very important to us.
