"Breast Clinic"

About: Queen Elizabeth I I Hospital (Welwyn Garden City)

Had appointment this morning. The clinic was running slightly late, my appointment was 9am and was seen roughly 9.30am. Understandable as was very busy!

As a 23 year old it was slightly nerve-wracking initially, however, the staff were so friendly and put me at ease. Transition from initial consult to ultrasound and the fact that my results were provided shortly after was great.

I'd advise making one of the earliest appointments in the day as it becomes rather busy by the time I was done (roughly 10.45).

The whole process from GP to breast clinic was 3 weeks for me and pleased with referral and online booking system.

Thank you.

Thanks for the feedback, which we are in the process of passing on to the breast clinic team down at the New QEII.

You're quite right that this is a very busy clinic, so thanks for taking the time to post these comments - we know that the team will be pleased to read them.
