I am attending Ambulatory Care with my partner who needed a minor operation and must say I'm absolutely amazed at the staff behaviour. The waiting room is full of staff eating chocolate and crisps, one particularly nurse (green striped uniforms) is attending to patients with an open bag of crisps in their pocket that the nurse occasionally keeps grazing on. Since their arrival the receptionist (black uniform) has done very little but complain openly in front of patients/visitors about how the receptionist doesn't want to be there. The nurse has now returned and slumped over the reception desk to eat some more. This to me looks extremely unprofessional and reflects badly on the entire facility. Whilst the Doctors and Consultants have been excellent when is someone going to address this problem of scruffy and ignorant nursing staff? 'Health professionals' they most certainly do not appear!!
