About: St Mary's Hospital (Manchester)

Very busy hospital, could not park any where near the front of genetics, even with a disability badge, had to park in multi storey across the road. Very modern and clean hospital. Sign posting very good, we found where we needed to go very quickly, Great services, shops and coffee shops. Reception staff friendly and the Genetic Doctors very nice and caring. Took time to listen and had students in with appointment. Would recommend this hospital and although there is a long wait for genetics I was not disappointed.

It was very kind of you to take the time to write and compliment the staff as it is good to receive positive feedback which reflects the hard work and dedication of our staff. It was reassuring to read that you found the doctors reassuring and caring. I can assure you that we have passed on your thoughts to Dr Fiona Lalloo, the Clinical Director for the Service, and the staff involved. We are pleased that you found the signposting to the department clear and helpful, the Facilities team have been working across the Trust site to improve wayfinding and will be pleased to hear of your positive experience.

In response to your comment regarding the car parking, we are reviewing our accessible car parking facilities and will ensure that your concerns are raised directly with the department involved so that they can look into them so that others don't experience the same issues as you did.
