"Excellent treatment and understanding"

About: Royal Shrewsbury Hospital

I was admitted to hospital last week with acute kidney and groin pain. I was diagnosed with urine retention in my bladder because of a prostate issue. The urine had started to back up into my kidneys. I was given prompt emergency treatment, fitted with a catheter for the short term and told my long term options. The nurses, doctors and consultants were all professional, understanding and emphathetic. The wards were clean and privacy was respected when required. I can't fault the way I was treated. Thank you.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback to us following your recent inpatient stay. I am sorry to hear that you have had to come into hospital but very pleased to note that the standard of care you received was as you would expect.

Kind regards,

Patient Experience Team
