"A & E, plus follow up"

About: Wexham Park Hospital

When I broke my wrist on Saturday 6th January I went into denial; when the problem wasn't solved by a bag of frozen peas I headed into A and E early Sunday. The treatment I received from start to finish at Wexham Park was second to none.

First of all, a big thank you to the on duty medic who performed a closed reduction on my wrist and the nurse who so patiently helped me to remove my rings; X ray saw me promptly and follow up appointments came in thick and fast.

Secondly, the member of staff kept a very close eye on my recovery, supported by staff at both Wexham and Heatherwood - unfailingly helpful in all instances.

Finally, physio at Wexham who made absolutely sure I worked hard on my recovery and got back to normal in the least possible amount of time. All appointments were on time and personalised to my needs.

A sincere thank you to everyone who made such a painful and worrying experience (my first, and hopefully last, broken bone) into a positive one that reminds me of just how lucky we are to have the NHS.

Dear Debbie

Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback on your treatment since breaking your wrist.

I'm delighted that you had a positive experience from all the staff and services that looked after you.

Feedback like yours makes it all worthwhile.

I will pass your comments on to all the teams so they can share the success with the staff involved.

Thank you for thinking of us

Kind Regards

Claire Marshall
