I was visiting Wookey Hole with my family when I slipped on some stairs while playing with my grand daughter hurting my foot and unable to weight bear at all.
My husband and I attended Minor Injuries the morning after it happened. We were very impressed with the speed my computerised records were 'retrieved ' from my surgery in Bromsgrove, Worcs and with the friendliness of the staff. There was also a calm atmosphere in the waiting area.
After initial examination I had several X-rays which showed (thankfully) that nothing was broken but the nurse said I had a severe sprain and ligament damage. I was supplied with a walking boot and crutches and shown how to use them as well as being offered pain relief. Total waiting time/ treatment just 2 hours which was brilliant.
We were also impressed that there was no charge for parking as our local A and E is very expensive!
Thank you for your kindness and excellent care.
