What I liked

Every body moans about this hospital but I must congratulate Ward 6A South.

My mother (88) has been a patient since mid August, with a medical condition which left untreated leaves her with severe infections. She has been treated with dignity, helpfulness, friendliness and has had ongoing continuing treatment . All the staff although very busy, take time with each patient and are very encouraging to all. The ward is kept extremely clean.

If we require any information regarding her treatment, we are either informed by the staff or an appointment is made for us to see one the Doctors very quickly.

We as a family are very pleased with the way she has been treated and would like to praise the staff for this.

How often perceptions and experience can be different.

While some may have negative perceptions about the Lister, the vast majority of contacts with us are from those whose experiences - just like yours - are of the very high quality care that they, their family or friends receive from our staff. We hope that through sharing your good experience, this will help others have continued confidence in the services we provide at the Lister to the people of Hertfordshire and south Bedfordshire.
