"Minor Injuries unit in right place at the right..."

On Monday the 6th June 2016 my wife fell badly on a loose stone surface whilst descending from the top of Malvern Hills whilst we were on holiday. She sustained a deep gash to her arm, impact injuries to her head hips shoulder and legs.

I managed to get her into Malvern where I discovered that the minor injuries unit existed.

On arrival I was disappointed to note that it was yet again a pay to stay car park which I view as so wrong in this environment, but everything else was excellent.

The hospital was clean and fresh looking on entry. There was an abundance of soft seating for my damaged wife to sit on and we received immediate attention on ringing a bell.

Triage was efficient and caringly done, thanks for that.

We then returned to the seating area for a very short period of time before being called in by the nurse to the treatment area. Both the nurse and a student nurse could not have been more caring toward my wife who was by this time suffering mild shock, but I noted that the nurse was constantly asking questions to, in order to assess my wife's condition.

Repairs were carefully completed and we accepted their advice attending our local nurse today on returning home whereupon they told my wife that her injury was healing well due to the excellent treatment she had received at your hands.

My thanks to you all for being in the right place at the right time.
