"impressed with the slightly casual atmosphere and regime"

About: St Bernard's Wing

(as the patient),

When I came to barron ward I was very impressed with the slightly casual atmosphere and regime. I decided to increase my work schedule from four or five sessions a week, enough to get by to twelve per week.

I enjoy the atmosphere and set up even now ive been here three years. I want to play in the band (hospital band) again as I used to before the leader left and became a full time social worker.

Dear Ash921

Thank you for your feedback about Barron Ward. The Barron Ward team are pleased that you find the ward atmosphere to be casual. The team values all feedback from the people we care for and it's really good to hear of positive care experiences. Thank you for taking the time to post your story!

With regards to the hospital band, I understand that this was disbanded a while ago and that there are no current plans to reform it. I would suggest that you speak with your Primary Nurse and the rest of the team about what other music options are available to you and we will support you in any way we can.

Thank you again for taking the time to post your story on Patient Opinion and thank you for your feedback.
