"Cataract Surgery"

I attended the Day Care Unit . The care and attention I received was outstanding. The Consultant, Anaesthetist and Nursing Staff were very friendly and did their upmost to put the patients at ease.

I arrived early and was greeted by a friendly receptionist. A nurse was allocated to me and I was taken to the Unit.

My husband was told to collect me at 11.45am Unfortunately due to an admin error the anaesthetist did not arrive and another one was brought in from holiday.

This resulted in a 1 hour delay so my nurse volunteered to ring my husband to keep him informed

The operation was carried out expertly and efficiently by the Theatre staff.

I was given post operative care instructions by my nurse and allowed to go home.
