"Well done to the Plastic Surgery clinic"

About: Mount Vernon Hospital Site

I had a large BCC removed from my left lower leg & a skin graft applied on 22nd February 2016 at Central Middlesex Hospital and was referred to Mount Vernon Plastic Surgery clinic for subsequent regular dressing changes following the 95% failure of the skin graft (which I had been warned may happen) Over a period of 13 weeks and probably more than 20 visits, I got to know many of your nursing staff and was always treated with great professionalism, kindness, consideration and good humour by all the nursing staff that I met, even when they were very pressed with high workloads.

In addition I would like to comment staff nurse at the Plastic Surgery clinic at Northwick Park hospital when they were assisting my surgeon, when the staff nurse went ‘about and beyond’ to ensure that I left the hospital with the correct dressings. I saw the consultant on 23/05/16 and was ‘signed off and told no further dressings were required.

At a time when you read so many complains about the NHS and the quality of treatment, I wanted to out in writing my appreciation & thanks for my excellent treatment.
