"Excellent standard of care"

About: New Victoria Hospital / Day surgery

(as the patient),

I would like to praise all the staff on ward 3 at the new Victoria hospital in Glasgow. The day surgery staff and the sacral nerve stimulation team. Coming from Fife I arrived the night before my operation, the staff were very welcoming and made me feel comfortable. The treatment from start to finish was made to make me feel at ease. All the staff were great and really caring. The hospital is at a very high standards and didn't have anything bad to say about my time in the hospital. Everything was clean, well organised and patient orientated.

I work in a small team within NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde. Part of the team’s role is to support patients and carers through our feedback systems which will help to improve the services we provide. On Patient Opinion, I support Lorna Gray, Patient Experience Public Involvement Project Manager, and Niall McGrogan, Head of Patient Experience Public Involvement.

Dear Fowlerslife

Thank you very much for taking the time to post on Patient Opinion about your recent experience in the New Victoria Hospital.

I am very pleased to hear that you felt welcomed by our staff and this carried on through your treatment. I am also pleased to hear that you felt the hospital was at such high standards. This is how we wish each patient to feel during treatment. I will pass on our kind words to our staff in ward 3 at the New Victoria Hospital.

I hope that you are recovering well following your operation.

Best wishes

Lisa
