"My mum's treatment after a fall"

About: Stoke Mandeville Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as a relative),

Mum came to your A & E department in the early morning after a fall at home when she couldn't mobilise. Absolutely every member of staff we encountered from nurses, junior Doctors, to registrars and physiotherapist were - in both mum's and my opinion absolutely exemplary.

You all treated us with absolute kindness, respect and efficiency. At times when people will only moan & criticise about an over-stretched service I am compelled to say a HUGE thank you to you all on behalf of my mother & me. THANK YOU!

Thank you so much for taking the time to post your lovely words of praise for the A&E staff at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. I am very pleased to hear that you and your mum had a positive experience of our services at what would have been a difficult time for you both.

We strive to put our patients first and to ensure they are offered high quality care it is therefore rewarding for staff to hear that you felt your mum was treated with absolute kindness, respect and efficiency by every memeber of staff in the department. I will make sure that your thanks are passed on to all the teams involved in her care.

Once again thank you for your kind words and I hope your mum is recovering well from her fall.
