I had a lovely experience today seeing Natalie, the health care assistant. She genuinely listened to me, made me feel supported and was very honest without being judgemental. I felt that she truly cared about her job and her patients. She's even managed to persuade me to attend a smear test in future, mainly by being completely non judgemental and non patronising, but offering me the facts.
She saw me 10 minutes before my appointment time and gave me as much time as I needed to discuss and address my concerns, some of which do not even strictly fall under her remit (administration related).
Finally, she managed to make me laugh, which I really needed, and I left in a much better mood than I went in!
I will be requesting to see her for any concerns in the future: )
