I attended A & E on 12/5/16, arriving approx. 16:30 after attending my own GP and they advised attending as an emergency due to an eye infection causing blindness to one eye - I was sent to minor injuries on arrival and although it took almost 2 hours before seeing a doctor to assess my situation, the doctor and nursing staff dealt swiftly with calling a specialist to check me out, the doctor arrived 30 minutes later and carried out extensive test's, biopsy's etc.

I was sent home at 21:00 with antibiotics and felt relieved I had been diagnosed correctly and confident with a specialist appointment the next day and that things were being dealt with seriously.

I have since attended the Kendrick Suite for further tests and found that all staff, specialist's offered an excellent service which in my past experience of the NHS was a nice change.
