"Very reassuring"

About: Aberdeen Maternity Hospital

(as the patient),

I had excellent care at Aberdeen Maternity Hospital in November last year, especially from Midwife Ruth and student Cara in the labour ward. They made me feel at ease and were very reassuring. I felt safe, well cared for and informed all the way through my induction, labour and eventually in theatre for a c-section. The Medical staff and staff on the post natal ward were great too.

The hospital gets a bad press sometimes but I would like to reassure any woman having their baby here that they are in safe hands.

Dear Ilod27

Another great wee story for Aberdeen Maternity Hospital. Thank you so much for posting your feedback on Patient Opinion. As you say, we do get some bad press so it is great for all expectant mums and families to read stories such as yours. I am sure this does act to reassure anyone who is anxious about giving birth.

Our aim is to deliver excellent, person-centred and compassionate care in a clean and safe environment and we strive to do the best we can for all our patients and families.

I am sure you cannot believe how fast the time is going and how much your baby has grown since November, so we sincerely thank you for taking time out to post your feedback.

Good Luck to you and your family.
