"The Rumours Are True"

About: Pinderfields General Hospital

Whatever you do , do not ask " How Long " even in a friendly polite manner, Do this and you are then frowned upon and really ignored.

The paramedics who were great, took my mother 89 into A&E around 10pm , with a broken hip after a fall, they knew straight away.

I arrived later approximately at 11.45, to find her comfortable still with the paramedics, asked for an update and she had not yet been taken over yet by the team. Pain relief and monitoring was being done by the paramedics, another hour or so later she was in the Hands of the Hospital, Off to X ray after the nurses struggled to get her undressed, amid her screams! No they didn't cut her clothes! They removed them, in my eyes unnecessary pain being inflicted, they were told to cut them, but chose to ignore that

Another hour and I approached a nurse for a result of the x Ray,"I will go and look ... " The Doctor will be with you shortly" When will that likely be ?.... Oh dear I had lit he Blue Touch paper ... " Within 3 hours" ...( What!)

From when she arrived , came a quick response,

she arrived at 10 pm I said its now 02.15,

Shortly

From that very moment when I asked for pain relief, toilet issues, even spasm s, they took forever, finally the doctor came around 4am" Your hip is broken" you now have to wait for the specialist doctor, she was then after 4 hours of needing the toilet , sorted and given pain relief, Off to the ward to wait now, where I was told they would try to find her a slot when the staff in the morning came on duty, but we still have patients who broke their hips Yesterday to do, after they ushered me away whilst taking her off the A & E trolley bed into the ward bed, Her screaming of pain, (no relief before during or after the move) echoed the quiet ward, why not leave her on the trolley until surgery. So there you have it.

I Bet Yvette Cooper or her relatives would never use this beautiful hospital creation of hers or be left at 89 with a broken hip, PS she has to now wait a further 24 hours in excruciating pain as they cannot fit her in today. Disgusting
