"How a hospital should work"

About: Braintree Community Hospital

I arrived at 07.15 for a 07.30 appointment. I was greeted by a nurse who advised us on where to go and we were then booked in by a friendly receptionist. I was taken in to the ward on time where my details were checked and everything was in order prior to minor surgery. I was the offered a drink of tea or coffee.

I was then visited by the surgeon who again checked my details and we signed the consent form.

My operation was carried out and I was taken back to the ward area where I was fully briefed on the follow up procedures in case of problems.

I know you will not want an operation but if you need one this hospital is a good place to get it done.

Good facilities, pleasant efficient staff what more could you ask for.
