"Cardiology dept"

About: Stoke Mandeville Hospital

I have always praised the staff and care received at Stoke over the past 25 years especially when compared to Luton.

However I feel totally let down by the cardiology department who are making me wait 13 months to discuss test results.

I am optimistic that someone will have at least reviewed the results however I have no guarantee that this has taken place.

I have spoken to the dept secretary (twice) who is unable to provide any reassurance that my tests have been reviewed.

I appreciate that staff have been on strike which means an extra 8 months delay to the original 5 month wait but there seems no alternative to obtaining the reassurance I want apart from waiting.

My GP practice are particularly useless and two doctors have given completely opposite views on their review of the tests results I managed to obtain in hard copy.
