"Chlamydia Test"

About: Kirklees Sexual Health / Kirklees Sexual Health Outreach

(as the patient),

Did a chlamydia test and got some condoms. The service is good but it would be good if there were more visits.

Thank you Toomes - I'm glad you found our visit useful and helpful and you took advantage of the free testing and condoms.

We are always looking at how and where we provide our services and having feedback like yours is really useful. We love being able to visit your college and it's other satellite campuses across Kirklees as we always receive such a warm welcome from the students. We also provide our Outreach Service to other groups of people across Kirklees, this includes; young people living in care, other colleges and the university, people living in hostels, as well as working with other services like the drugs and alcohol teams and youth groups. and we want to make sure that everyone has access to sexual health interventions like chlamydia screening, condoms, advice and support but it's feedback like yours that can help us make sure we are going to the right places.

In between our visits, you can always call at Brian Jackson House (we're in the Basement), to pick up some more condoms or speak to someone for advice or support. You can also request a free chlamydia screening kit from chlasp.screening@locala.org.uk

If you need any other help or advice about contraception or sexual health, then please check out the Locala website for opening times and locations of clinics across Kirklees

Many thanks again Toomes for your feedback which I will be sharing with the whole team.

Kind regards from

The Sexual Health Outreach/Prevent Team
