"Wonderful experience on day surgery unit"

I was admitted onto medical unit one day surgery yesterday, my named nurse was lovely and explained everything brilliantly, the consultnat was thorough and friendly, the ward itself was very organised and I saw the cleaner doing a great job. I was kept updated on waiting times and where I was on the list by all the staff, the theatre team were really good and put me at ease. The cannula the student put in didn't even hurt! Post op I was checked on very regularly, my obs were taken on time and discharge went smoothly and promptly. I cannot fault the care shown to me by the whole unit and they deserve full credit.
