"Asthma attack"

About: University College Hospital

I was brought to UCLH A& E by ambulance having asthma attack around 7:30 pm 12th may while I'm wheezing and can't breath properly 3 hours upon asking the receptionist to please get me nurse assistance as I can't breath, the receptionist said wait for your turn I was there till 1:30am and did not get any help this is the most utterly I unprofessional and not caring place. They take Hippocratic Oath to seve their duties willingly and help the people in need but they just ignore and go by number to assist I left there and suffered while night before I ran to my GP in the morning and they straight away put nebulizer and treat me right away. I could have lost my life but this arrogant and rude humans made me sit there 5 and half hours without treating me

Thank you for taking the time to feed back to us. We are very sorry to hear about your recent experience of A&E at UCLH. We would be grateful if you could contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) via pals@uclh.nhs.uk or by calling 020 3447 3042 so that we can look into this.
