"Miscarriage care"

About: Royal Derby Hospital / Gynaecology Royal Derby Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

In September 2014 I had a miscarriage. It took three months to sort out, with two procedures. It was a difficult time, but the care from the staff at the Royal Derby GAU was fantastic.

They looked after me really well, both after my scan which revealed the issue and at my three further visits to their unit. The staff on the ward after the final surgical procedure were great too. I felt cared for and that I mattered the whole time I was with them.
