"Amazing Maternity Services"

I have received exceptional care from the beginning of my pregnancy initially with the guidance and support from the community midwife team.

I was extremely lucky to be cared for by Melinda who is amazing at her job and was a pleasure to get to know. I experienced a long and painful labour and was supported throughout this by Jane on the MLC unit, I really believe without her support and expertise I would not have been able to continue with the pool birth that I had planned on from the beginning.

With her calm and supportive nature I managed to give birth with just gas and air although I thought this was going to be impossible due to the pain I was experiencing due to my long slow labour. I can not thank all of the staff and the wonderful care received from Tameside.

I feel this hospital does not receive the recognition it deserves and I can not recommend it enough.
