About: Lister Hospital

I have been referred for urgent MRI scan here due to muscle tear in my Knee by GP from King George sergery and i have been given 4 weeks of waiting time. if i have to wait for 4 weeks to get MRI done and after getting reports only i will be referred to orthopedic appointment .l am having severe pain in my knee and unable to walk and now i have to wait for 4 weeks for MRI to be done. We're sorry that you are not happy with the waiting time, but this is the timeframe for urgent as against routine MRI scans.

We suggest that you speak with your GP who can discuss your concerns with you and if they feel that clinically your need is to be seen more quickly, then they can make representations on your behalf.
