"Emergency treatment"

About: Bristol Eye Hospital

I was travelling home from Devon to Oxfordshire and had to make an emergency diversion to the hospital after developing severe pain in my left eye. I was seen within 15 minutes and diagnosed with a corneal abrasion. Anaesthetic pain relief was administered before a comprehensive examination and I was released after a thorough irrigation of the eye and given antibiotic eye drops to prevent infection. Students were present throughout and I was very impressed with the way the doctor treated me and taught them at the same time. All very professional. Thank you

It is wonderful to read about the professional and caring manner in which you were treated at the eye hospital recently. Thanks for taking the time to feed back to us.
