I was travelling home from Devon to Oxfordshire and had to make an emergency diversion to the hospital after developing severe pain in my left eye. I was seen within 15 minutes and diagnosed with a corneal abrasion. Anaesthetic pain relief was administered before a comprehensive examination and I was released after a thorough irrigation of the eye and given antibiotic eye drops to prevent infection. Students were present throughout and I was very impressed with the way the doctor treated me and taught them at the same time. All very professional. Thank you
