I would like to thank the District Nurses that work between the above surgeries, they have been fantastic and are an inspiration.
I have been receiving Chemo for a number of months now and throughout that time the Nurses have been an integral part of my treatment plan. They have been checking my bloods, fastidiously maintaining my pic line weekly and have been disconnecting my chemo pumps every second week.
They have always accommodated me at short notice and their flexibility and willingness to help is truly wonderful. They are a tremendous asset to NHS Forth Valley and I really do not know where I would be without them.
Each one of them deserves special mention, the area they cover and the volume of work they appear to have is incredible - they do it all with a friendly smile and a wonderful bedside manner that you just cannot teach. Its rare that you find a team that have all found their true vocation and their support has meant an awful lot to me over the past few months.
I would appreciate it if you could pass on my extreme gratitude to them all.
