Moved to Lincolnshire from Heathrow/ Middlesex area 20 years ago where I had numerous episodes as an in patient at Ashford Hospital. On registering with my GP Dr M Locker I was advised / referred to Register The United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust- Lincoln County because of my acute condition with asthma.
Initially was under Dr Paterson who assessed my condition reviewed my medications my diet, and exercise regime. On his retirement my care was taken over by Drs Sheele and Puzman also showed care and compassion over the following years. I followed this up with personal diaries of peak flow monitoring and clinics with my GP and practice nurses.
I am now on a self managed routine with only 6 monthly reviews. Throughout these years thankfully I have not needed to be admitted for my condition and I have nothing but praise respect for the NHS Staff at Lincoln County Hospital and my GP Practice at Glebe Park Surgery taking time to listen understand and support me in being able to live a normal life without being an inpatient in the last 20 years.
