Had a 6 week baby check appoitment at my GP practice for my baby, when we arrived we were told the GP is sick and no other GP's can do a 6 week baby check. The appointment was in the afternnoon, so staff had ample opportunity to inform us not to turn up.
Cannot understand why practice staff would not inform paitents if a appointment is cancelled - our mobile, home telephone and email address are all at their fingertips.
Hopefully the next appointment will be kept by the GP.
