"A warm welcome"

I visited the Endocrinology unit today and was greeted and looked after by two health professionals who showed great kindness and respect.

I use a walking stick to get around and struggled today with the heat.

Not only was I given a cold glass of water but was shown the way to the various locations that I had to go to (bloods, etc).

The Doctor also showed the same kindness and ensured that I was fully briefed and involved.

Thank you.

You turned what I thought would be a stressful day, into one of calm.
