From entering the building to leaving it, my care was excellent. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The nurse who put my cannula in was patient with me (I was anxious) they put me at ease and answered all my questions which was a great help. They were very warm and genuine. The technician who did the scan popped out to let me know how long I would be waiting (even though I hadn't asked). When I went in they went through the procedure and answered all my questions and I felt comfortable that they would have answered any others if I had any. They took their time to check I understood everything. Whilst in the machine they kept checking in to see if I was okay and to let me know what was going to happen next. I felt reassured and relaxed which is no mean feat in the machine. This was down to how they were caring for me. The person who took my cannula out was friendly and approachable. I enjoyed having a chat with them whilst they did their work and again, they also made me feel very relaxed and comfortable. All in all, I felt that every person involved in my care that day had a genuine interest in making sure it was a good experience. I really felt that they all cared. I must say I have have private fee based care in the past and my experience at Hull MRI knocked the socks of this. I would appreciate if you could tell each staff member that was on on 4th May, thanks from me,
