Care in Day Care Centre

Spent 8 hours yesterday in the ERI Day Care Centre. From the moment I entered the building I was collected and taken to the ward and bed introduced to the two nursing staff that would look after me. After changing into the requisite gown etc I had a few moments to review the ward and staff.

Everyone was engaged in some task and throughout the day they never stopped. I was quickly taken through to the lab and the laser procedure done. I never felt concern or nervous at any stage, the team from top to bottom explained every stage of the procedure as it went along. I was totally impressed by the care, curtesy and competence of everyone, especially Amy and Katheryn who looked after me. Well done the ERI especially the Day Care Team.
